Course Details:
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Schedule: 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday)
For whom:
The course is designed for music producers with ambitions to develop their careers in the music industry. It’s also for active producers looking for new knowledge, inspiration, and skill improvement. Familiarity with your DAW is expected.
Where:
Experience the legendary 400m2 MillFactory Studios in Copenhagen. Our state-of-the-art facility provides an unparalleled production environment, equipped with the latest technology for an exceptional learning experience. This is not an online course; it’s hands-on training in a real recording facility, where you gain invaluable knowledge and experience.
How:
The course begins with an assessment of individual and group skill levels.
There’s a distinction between knowledge and experience. While knowledge is important, experience enables students to apply it in live situations. As boxing legend Mike Tyson says: "Everybody has a plan until I punch them in the face." This capability ensures optimal client experiences, often determining whether clients return.
Weekly sessions will elevate students’ knowledge of core topics like recording, mixing, and mastering to a high level. Supplementary skills in areas like client management and delivery processes are added to give students a 360-degree foundation.
Students will work in smaller groups during weekly sessions, performing and evaluating each other on both sides of the studio glass. This builds a strong, inspiring network that serves as a foundation for a career in the music industry.
This is NOT a beginner’s course.
