Copenhagen Music Academy is now on Sleeve — a new platform for reflection, long-form content, and deeper connection beyond traditional social media.

Sleeve Day took place at MillFactory Studios as a focused, hands-on session exploring direct-to-fan strategies and sustainable music careers. Led by Anna Lidell, founder of Sleeve. Part of the WINGS project by A Music Collective and Copenhagen Music Academy. Supported by Tuborgfondet.

A group of Tonmeister students from DKDM visited MillFactory Studios for a walkthrough of the studio’s history, acoustic design, monitoring setup, and room-correction workflow.

Boe Larsen has joined the Royal Academy of Music as a teacher in the Tonmeister programme. He will lead the annual recording project focusing on non-Western music, continuing the tradition established by Nils Ekner.

In October, Copenhagen Music Academy and A Music Collective will host a free WINGS inspiration day at MillFactory NuVenue — featuring artist Johannes Blöndal Wamberg and booking agent Emmamaia. Supported by Tuborgfondet.

In July, we recorded nine bands over five days at the Roots & Jazz Festival’s Beats & Bloom stage — using multicam and multitrack setups. Post-production was done at MillFactory Studios. Supported by Tuborgfondet.

In February, students from Sonic College spent three days at MillFactory Studios diving into advanced Pro Tools workflows. The sessions covered audio pitching, time-stretching, and automation — all hands-on in a professional studio setting.
